Murder Mystery

Dibley´s La Cala host Murder Mystery in aid of live and raised 315€

Family Fun Day raises 2138.80€ for Cuidad de los Niños

After the successes of the previous years, the committee decided to do another Fun day in 2010. This year promised to be bigger and better than previous years and due to the support from the local community in El Faro and SILK FM 89.2FM and COSTA ROCK, El Faro were not disappointed.

The day was full of excitement with a live outdoor broadcast from SILK FM hosted by Andy Phillips who entertained the crowd all afternoon. There were stalls galore and lots of fun and games for the kids.
Liz Wade, a member of the local community; raised 304.50€ by having her head shaved and Dibleys Bar La Cala won the Tug O War Challenge in a heavily disputed contest against the Calendar Boys 2010.

The afternoon events were rounded up by a fantastic performance by Costa Rock who entertained the crowds for a full hour and a half.

The evenings entertainment was yet another spectacular event hosted by Darling Dave and SILK FM´s Nick Alexander dressing up to be a dolly dealer in a game or two of Play your Cards Right. He (or should we say she) then hosted an evening fo Karaoke with the partying going on well into the wee small hours.

The day was deemed another huge success with a massive 2138.80€ raised for the charity.
